EITO: positive forecast
There is a trend reversal in the European high tech
reports the German IT association BITKOM
based on updated information received from the European market research
institute EITO. Based on their forcast the revenue with products and
services of the sectors information technology, telecommunication and
consumer electronics in the European Union will decline by 0.6% in 2010
and reach 704 billion Euros. For 2011 they forecast a growth by 1.3% to
713 billion Euros.
Prof. Scheer from BITKOM said: "The European ITC industry was hit later
and less by the worldwide finacial crisis."
